I had the incredible opportunity to teach at LuMAA’s Animation Summer Camp in Lucerne, working with college students passionate about animation. Over the course of a week, I led daily lectures focused on refining animation techniques, offering insights on polishing shots to enhance clarity, weight, and appeal. Beyond the lectures, I provided hands-on guidance as students developed their work, helping them push their animation to the next level. It was inspiring to see their growth and creativity come to life!
Animation Collaborative EPIC Intensive
I had the privilege of giving a lecture at The Animation Collaborative’s EPIC Intensive, where I shared insights on navigating the animation industry beyond just technical skills. My talk focused on how to land and maintain a job in animation, covering essential yet often overlooked soft skills, industry expectations, and how to persevere in a highly competitive field. It was an incredible experience speaking to such a passionate group of artists, offering advice on career longevity, networking, and resilience in the face of challenges.
